# Beginner: How to create remote search function

 * Hello,
 * I am fairly new to WordPress and am trying to figure out how to create a simple
   search function that can call from an external URL. Essentially the URL I am 
   looking to call from ends in an equal sign, and any term plugged in after the
   equal sign in the URL returns all results with that keyword. For example:
 * example.org/output/searchcontents?searchSTR=< >
 * Has anybody any experience with this? I am not strong on coding, so Ideally a
   plug-in would be best but all API related things seem a bit over my head to figure
   out in the very limited time I have to set this website up.
