# beginner help needed

 * i have a site but realized that its not as easy as it seems.. i would like to
   know which wordpress theme is the EASIEST to maneuver thru for someone who is
   not a web designer..i am opening a school and want to get blogging and info out
   to get parents attention.. nothing real deep or technical just something I can
   manage on a day to day basis, blogging and posting pics and linking to social
   media.. can anyone advise.. i alreeady spent over $200 on so called social media
   wordpress training,, it got me started but now i need ease of functionality..
   please help asap.. thank you

 * Hi HAFH – good to see a fellow educator on here. I actually advise a lot of schools
   and teachers on this, so it’s lucky I stumbled upon your post!
 * When you say “maneuver” through, what exactly is it you’d like to do with a theme
   that you can’t figure out so far? Depending on your needs, it might be easier
   to go with a solution like [Weebly](http://www.weebly.com) (which is more user-
   friendly, but less powerful than WordPress). If you’ve already paid for a year
   of web hosting, there are other things we could do with that, like setting up
   a [Moodle](http://moodle.org/about/) server.

 * Graphene theme is a far developed theme wih an extensive admin area. You can 
   modify the site quite alot without hardly modifying any code. Perhaps it would
   be worth a look?

 * oh thank you both so much.. I actually am a pharmacist who is stepping out on
   faith to open a montessori child care/family center.. i dont like weebly(i had
   someone supposedly helping me swithced my wordpress to weebly and got mad when
   I asked them to change some stuff)lol..so back on my own ..I just realized what
   blogging was six months ago…lol if that explains how New I am to all this.. so
   when i say manuever, i dont understand codes and technical..i like the drag and
   drop of weebly but really want to engage the world with posts and helpful tips
   to parents and want to utilize google analytics and stuff that will really get
   my site seen… so i was using basic simplicity but got stuck once i put my headers
   up.. i want drop down menus and ease of typing content and posting at the blink
   of an eye since I am on my own

 * Great to hear about the new Montessori school! A few other themes to check out
   include Paperpunch, Digg 3 Column, and Contempt.
 * If you do want to learn more about how WordPress works to really unleash your
   imagination, the [WordPress Codex](http://codex.wordpress.org/Main_Page) has 
   a lot of great resources to get you started and [Treehouse](http://referrals.trhou.se/chrisvfritz)
   is a great service for learning web design. Of course, these forums are also 
   helpful when you still get stuck!
