    using version 3.2.1

    the standard “beg” notice appears at the top of the WPadmin screens after installing this mod. However, unlike every other mod, this notice never goes away.

    If you like what Content Visibility for Divi Builder helps you to do, please take a moment to consider rating it. And don't worry, we won't keep asking once you dismiss this notice. 🙂

    clicking the (X), the Hide Notice, or the Keep Notice Hidden only removed the notice for that page load. The moment you reload the page, or navigate to another admin page, the notice reappears.

    Hi @kindred,

    What is creating the Hide Notice and Keep Notice Hidden choices? Our plugin does not so there must be another notice hiding plugin installed? Perhaps it conflicts with this one’s hiding persistence code…

    Please let me know and I’ll try to reproduce it on my end. Thanks!

    hmmmm, I have no plugin to do that — I get it on all of my sites (which have different set of plugins) so I assumed that the choices were wordpress standard functionality

    Perhaps a must-use plugin installed by your hosting provider? What hosting service are you using?

    personal hosting on ICDSoft. I never use auto-installers.

    Can’t find anything on their support site for automatically installed plugins…

    The plugin should only have an x in the top right of the notice. Would it be possible for me to login to one of your sites so I can see what is happening? If so please send credentials to jhorowitz@aod-tech.com

    Otherwise, could you send the list of active plugins and must-use plugins?

    Thanks @kindred, looking at an example of the issue was very helpful!
    The cause is this plugin: https://wordpress.org/plugins/stop-spammer-registrations-plugin/

    That is what is adding the additional Keep Hidden links to the admin notices. It is also removing the <script> tag in the notice that handles persistence.

    I’m not sure why their code doesn’t do what it claims to keep it hidden though! In any event, I’m not going to try to get their plugin to do its job and keep the notice hidden from their links; I will however be able to supply a fix so that clicking on the X properly persists in our plugin’s settings to not show it again.

    Will have a fix out for this soon 🙂
