• On updating to version 2.0.0 I followed prompts to connect with a website. I foolishly signed in with my gmail account and once in was hit with exorbitant payment details or a 7 day free trial. Payment of course by Google Pay as I had signed in with my gmail.

As I have no intention of wanting these features I immediately wanted to delete this sign up only to find there was absolutely no way to do so.

I utilised the website chat help and was told it was impossible to delete the sign up, they needed to keep records.

    All very scammy.

    Hi @nightl

Sorry to hear you had this issue.

We checked your account and it was Free HUB so the 7-days trial that we offer was never signed.

We do understand your concerns about using Gmail which is linked to Google pay and our account team proceeded with all necessary data removal steps, please check the latest email sent by our account team.

You can sign up on Free HUB using any different account in the future if you wish to give the Broken Link Checker 2.0 a new try and hope to convert this review into a 5-stars experience.

    Best Regards
    PAtrick Freitas
