• At first, I thought about letting it go and forgetting this plugin, but it’s not fair to stay silent for those who are placing high hopes on it. So here I am, sharing my experience.

If you’re okay dealing with multiple, recurring issues — go for it. But be warned: I received a vulnerability warning from my Hostinger dashboard, stating that this plugin was harming Elementor. My site layout was broken until I deactivated the CoDesigner plugin. Here is the warning I got from Hostinger Dashboard:

Cross Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability discovered by Robert DeVore (Patchstack Alliance) in WordPress Plugin CoDesigner WooCommerce Builder for Elementor (versions <= 4.21)

It seems like they have only one technical support specialist. While he was responsive and tried his best, the issues remained unresolved. They don’t seem to value customers’ time. As long as they keep trying to fix the endless problems, they refuse to issue a refund — which essentially means “all sales are final.”

I wish I had read more 1-star and 2-star reviews before installing this plugin. It wasted so much of my time.

If you’re using the Astra theme, I recommend upgrading to the Pro version. It solved all my problems, and I can now enable one-click checkout and skip the cart page.

For fellow newbies, here’s an honest piece of advice: do not install too many plugins. Instead, upgrade Elementor and your theme. Every plugin you add increases the risk of slowing down your site or causing conflicts — even with something as essential as Elementor, just like CoDesigner did.

  • Hi @bellae20

Thank you once again for sharing your feedback. We’re truly sorry to hear that your experience with CoDesigner didn’t meet your expectations. After thoroughly reviewing your case and testing on our end, we found that the plugin is functioning as intended in terms of its core features and compatibility with Elementor.

Regarding the vulnerability warning you received, we want to assure you that it was a warning that did not affect the plugin’s core functionality. That said, we took it seriously and have already fixed the issue in our latest update to ensure a safer and smoother experience for all users.

Regarding your support please know that we are committed to providing real, hands-on help, not making false promises. In your specific case (e.g., the Add to Cart button issue), we thoroughly reviewed your site and offered clear, personalized guidance to address the issue based on how CoDesigner functions. As per our refund policy, refunds are typically processed when: The plugin does not work as advertised, and Our support team is unable to provide a working solution.

It’s honestly disheartening to receive a negative review, especially after doing our best to assist and communicate clearly with full transparency. We understand that sometimes users may want a refund when things don’t go as expected. However, as a company, we have a clear and fair refund policy in place, which we openly share with all our customers. This helps us maintain consistency and ensures that every customer is treated equally.

Our goal has always been to support and assist users to the best of our ability. While we couldn’t meet your expectations in this case, please know that your feedback is valued and helps us improve both our product and support. We’re committed to continuing our service with integrity and care for our users.

    Sincerely,
    Nayeem
