 * When BC4WP plugin version 4.26 to BigCommerce using API credentials, I get this
   error message:
 * “”””API scopes are invalid. Requested resource: /gift_certificates””””
 * I downgraded plugin to 4.25 and was able to connect via API successfully.

   the plugin developers added a gift certificate scope check, when one sets a store.
   The solution for resolving this error with v4.26 is to update scopes to include
   gift certificates. 🙂

 * Hi Heather,
 * The scope for Gift Certificates does not show up in my BC API control panel.
   
   Also, I raised a ticket with BC support that is still pending a reply.

    I just check for the API scope again and it’s still not visible 
   in my shop. Here’s my shop url to you can let your Change Manager know they released
   version 4.26 prematurely before the scope was generally available to existing
   BC customers.

 * Hi [@mikepeace](https://wordpress.org/support/users/mikepeace/), the Gift Certificates
   fall under Marketing. If you can add the Marketing scope, you should be good 
   to go! Also, I’d recommend checking out [this documentation](https://developer.bigcommerce.com/bigcommerce-for-wordpress/ZG9jOjIyMDYzNQ-multisite)
   on which scopes you should add, to prevent any future issues with the current
   version.
