Support » Plugin: Ajax Search Lite » bbPress keyword/tag search result page not automatically replaced

I have the free version of the plugin. I’ve set “Try to replace the theme search with Ajax Search Lite form?” to “on”, and mostly the replacement works. The only place, where it doesn’t work, is the keyword/tag search in the bbPress forum. That is,

    • I write a topic in a bbPress forum and add a tag “foo” to it
    • I look at the topic and see a list of tags at the end of it
    • I click on the tag “foo” to search all topics with the same tag
    • I end up on a bbPress search result page with the bbPress search box instead of the Ajax Search search box

Is this a known limitation of auto-replacement or the free version of the plugin? Does the pro version solve this?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi,

The BBPress search form might not be placed via the get_search_form method, but it might be hard-coded to the theme itself. Unfortunately that is not possible to replace automatically. There is no limit within the lite version, the replacement script works the same way in both releases.
I believe you might have to ask the theme author on where to find those and how to edit them to replace them with the plugin shortcode.

    Best regards,
    Ernest M.
