    Hi,

Im using the latest bbpress, latest wordpress, latest profilegrid and latest bbpress integration plugin. There are 3 issues:

    a) the bbpress integration options only show “Enable bbPress”. Screenshots at your website show more settings

    b) this brings me to the next issue: users cannot create forum topics. When I deactivate the bbpress integration, users can again create forum topics.

    c) forums do not show in the Profile as a new tab despite being activated in the pm_profile_tabs_settings

Fyi, the shortcode [profilegrid_forum_area] does work and shows the topics created etc.

    Thank you,

Update: If I am using the shortcode [profilegrid_forum_area] on any page, it will then update the profile page and add the forum tab. However, problem a) and problem b) is still not resolved.

Another update: I found the bbpress user settings in the groups settings and a) and b) problems are solved. Thank you,

    Hi,

Thank you for writing to us.

Enabling bbPress Integration from the Global Settings will add three new options to each ProfileGrid Group. You can check out these options by clicking on the ‘Settings’ link on any ProfileGrid Group. These three new options are:-

Enable Forums Tab: Adds a ‘Forums’ tab to each ProfileGrid Profile that is a member of that Group.
Member Can Create New Topics: Any member of the Group can create new bbPress Forum Topics.
Member Can Create New Replies: Any member of the Group can create new Replies for bbPress Topics.

To enable the above settings, Go to Specific Group’s settings.

    1) Login to your website and click on ProfileGrid Menu
    2) All the groups will appear
    3) Click on settings >>> Scroll down and enable the option via the toggle button.

For more details on ProfileGrid-bbPress Integration, please visit https://profilegrid.co/free-bbpress-user-profiles-forum-topics-replies-subscriptions/.

If a user is a member of multiple groups, then the priority will be of the first Group’s bbPress settings joined by the user. So, if the forum tab setting is enabled for the first Group the user joined, then the forum tab will display on the user’s profile.

    Thank you,
