 * Does this plugin work for bbPress pages.
 * I assume it would but I don’t see any og meta tags on my bbPress pages.
 * Have I done something wrong?

 * Hi there,
 * Nothing has been specifically made for bbPress but I can try to look it up.
 * Can you give me your bbPress URL? (make sure you have the plugin activated)

 * Hello,
 * I installed a test bbPress and the Open Graph tags seem to be correctly set,
   even without any specific customization on my plugin.
 *     ```
       <meta property="og:locale" content="pt_PT" />
       <meta property="og:site_name" content="Wonderm00n" />
       <meta property="og:title" content="Um tópico de testes" />
       <meta itemprop="name" content="Um tópico de testes" />
       <meta property="og:url" content="http://blog.wonderm00n.com/forums/topic/um-topico-de-testes/" />
       <link rel="canonical" href="http://blog.wonderm00n.com/forums/topic/um-topico-de-testes/" />
       <meta property="og:type" content="article" />
       <meta property="og:description" content="Home &rsaquo; Forums &rsaquo; Fórum de teste &rsaquo; Um tópico de testes (...)" />
       <meta name="description" content="Home &rsaquo; Forums &rsaquo; Fórum de teste &rsaquo; Um tópico de testes (...)" />
       <meta itemprop="description" content="Home &rsaquo; Forums &rsaquo; Fórum de teste &rsaquo; Um tópico de testes (...)" />
       <meta property="og:image" content="http://1.gravatar.com/avatar/d7573c4b2fc4df4ae044812c3ac1331f?s=14&d=identicon&r=G" />
       <meta itemprop="image" content="http://1.gravatar.com/avatar/d7573c4b2fc4df4ae044812c3ac1331f?s=14&d=identicon&r=G" />
       ```
 * I could in the future make some customizations if someone could help me better
   understand bbPress and what kind of specific options should be available on my
   plugin.
 * wonderm00n, first thank you for this plugin. Second, I am running BuddyPress
   and bbPress. Your plugin IS generating the OG tags for me, just as your post
   shows. The major issue I have right now (and would be of no use in helping you
   solve) is in the og:description and name:description tags. The excerpt it takes
   to build the description includes all of the bbPress breadcrumbs and reply meta
   information, and misses the actual post content.
 * Is there anything we can do about this?
 * Example post on my site: [http://churchtechconnect.com/discussion/topic/forum-structure/](http://churchtechconnect.com/discussion/topic/forum-structure/)
 * I see.
 * The problem is the way bbPress creates the post content. We are just grabbing
   the x first characters of the post because no excerpt exists.
 * We can try to make a 3rd party integration. What do you think we should use as
   description? The first post of a thread?
