 * How can I make the BBP forum fit the default page size with sidebar on the right
   as opposed to being full width?

 * That might be quite complicated. This issue doesn’t relate only with the CSS 
   for bbPress but also CSS for your theme.
    Themes have commonly [@media](https://wordpress.org/support/users/media/)
   screen and (min:width… That cause different right and left margins and widths
   for the main content area but also for the main header of the page. I failed 
   to get optimal values and it might be difficult also in your case. You should
   carefully look at the CSS of your theme and bbPress.
