BB extremely slow

    Hi there,
    I’ve just installed Beaver Builder and it is so slow it makes it basically impossible to work with, as the editor takes forever to load after each change. The website doesn’t seem to have any other speed issues.
    Any help would be greatly appreciated!

    p.s. I’m also using Revolution Slider on the site, version 5.1. I’m just mentioning this because I’ve seen some posts online saying the two plugins might not work well together – though those posts also stated that this issue had been resolved.

    Hey Trizonia,

    Thanks for posting! We’ve several users that are using Rev Slider with BB without any issues. In fact, I have used both on my local dev and it works fine. Do you have any other plugins installed? Do you mind going through the plugin deactivation route, i.e., disable all plugins and test the Beaver Builder while reactivating each to determine if the issue is related to a 3rd party plugin. Let us know how it goes!

    Hi Ben,

    Thank you very much for your quick reply and sorry for my not-so-quick response – it took a bit of time to manage to deactivate the plugins with the client checking the website.
    So, I deactivated everything, activated it again, and now for some unknown reason BB is running much better…It’s still a bit slow, but nowhere near as slow as it was in the beginning. I really don’t know what to make out of this.
    In any case, thanks for your help and I’ll let you know if anything changes in the following days.

    It’s possible your hosting was having a maintenance or update and was causing the sluggish performance. Anyway, glad it’s in working condition now. Do let us know if anything comes up! 🙂
