BAW Login/logout menu does NOT open

First of all, I’m new to WordPress so plz bear with me.

I have recreated an old website in WordPress, mainly to be able to hide certain information from not logged-in users. I have used an excellent plugin to handle the log-in, BAW Login/Logout menu, which up till now has carried out its tasks as expected.

Now, during development, the website URL has been http://runohojd.lsbconsulting.se/wordpress which brings up a static startpage with the BAW Login as a menuitem. Clicking the item opens the login page to enter Uid/pwd. Doing so, returns us to which ever page was active.

As I now think the page is ready for my members to try it, I redirected my domain ( http://runöhöjd.se )to access the same page. Clicking the link brings me to the startpage, all menu links operate perfectly except the Login. Clicking the Login menuitem causes, as far as I can see, absolutely no action at all. It is, however, possible to rightclick the item and bring up the loginpage in a separate window.

Could this be a function of the swedish letters used in the domainname?

Would greatly appreciate some help to solve this issue, if possible.
