    Hi all,

I am using woocommerce on a very simple site, latest version of woocommerce and wordpress. No caching plugins or any other complications. After clearing my cache in Chrome, adding a single item from the homepage and going to the cart, my cart is empty!!! I am getting this issue for sure in Chrome and iOS… Mac Safari and Firefox seem to be OK.

I have read of others having this strange behaviour but most solutions seem to focus on caching plugins, in my case there aren’t any! Can anybody help??

    Many thanks
    K

    Hey there!

I’m not able to see this happen on my machine using Chrome, but I would recommend checking if that happens when using the default WooCommerce theme (Storefront) and *no* other plugins.

That would help rule out any kind of conflicts.

    Hi,
I’ve got a feeling I know what is/was causing this… can you sanity check my thinking??

For some reason, my .htaccess file which was redirecting http to https got overwritten – not sure why. So the redirect wasn’t working. So, user adds product to cart on http page, then heads to cart, which is https. Would that cause the empty cart?

    Thanks K
