 * Am I right in saying that this plugin can only show a email field unless I go
   and sign up for the mail chimp real system??
 * So there seems no way of adding a name feild unless I have an api key and have
   a paid account at mail chimp??

 * Hello Pete,
 * Our plugin “MailChimp for WordPress” is used to create subscription forms on
   a WordPress website and send the data to your MailChimp.com account. So MailChimp.
   com account (free or paid) is required as without it, our plugin won’t send the
   data anywhere.
 * Also to create API and lists, you do not need a paid MailChimp account. They
   have a freemium model where they allow users to have up to 2000 subscribers and
   email them for free.

 * Hello Pete,
 * The reason I had to share with you details was because you asked if you need
   to signup with MailChimp in your first question.
    1. Our form allows you to add those fields that exist in your MailChimp list to
       which the form is connected. If you need more fields you would simply need to
       create those fields in the MailChimp list and then go to the “MailChimp for
       WP” page in your WordPress backend and click on “Renew MailChimp Lists”. Doing
       this pulls the changes you made in your list and makes it available to the form.
    2. API key can be created from your MailChimp account. We have provided a link
       right below the field where you need to add the key in our plugin to make it
       even easier. Have you tried it yet?
