[Resolved] Basic Users Are Able to Send Emails To All Registered Users

    @livninctry,

    I presume you are talking about access to the Subscribe2 -> Send Email page. This page is actually already restricted to Registered users with a role of Author and above.

    If you need to change this to something higher (but bear in mind an Author can write and publish a blog article that would result in an email anyway) then look in the FAQs for the question “I want to change the kinds of users who can access the Subscribe2 menus. Is that possible?”.

    Appreciate the quick response. Quick question… If I click on the “send Email Preview” and that functions works can I assume the digest emails are getting sent out?

    @brian,

    I think you can safely presume that the plugin is working and generating the emails but they may be getting rejected on the server and thus never arrive. I always subscribe one of my own email addresses to assure sending.
