@setmonkey13 – If you are looking to have image 1 of 10 (for example) have a different “template” than image 2 of 10 in the same gallery then no, but if you are looking to have two galleries, each with its own template then that should be possible.

When inserting the ImageBrowser display (via the IGW, aka “green button”) just choose the appropriate template from the Customization panel.

    Thanks!

I am hoping Gallery 1 be viewed as gallery-caption.php and use imagebrowser effect 1. Gallery 2 is also viewed as gallery-caption.php and use imagebrower effect 2.

@setmonkey13 – I’m not sure what you are referring to as with ImageBrowser effect 1 and 2 … can you provide any more details?

    Sure. Sorry for the confusion.
What I am wondering is possible:
I create 2 pages each with its own gallery. (by clicking the “green button”)
Gallery 1 on page 1 is viewed as Basic Thumbnails and the gallery-caption.php template. Under the customizing section “Use imagebrowser effect” is clicked yes. The template that the imagebrowser uses is imagebrowser-caption.php (currently set up through the NGG general settings page).
Gallery 2 on page 2 is viewed as Basic Thumbnails and the gallery-caption.php template. Under the customizing section “Use imagebrowser effect” is clicked yes. I would like this page to use the imagebrowser-exif.php template. Is that possible?

    Does that make more sense?

@setmonkey13 – Thanks for the clarification on this. Unfortunately using the option “Use imagebrowser effect” only renders the display based on the settings under Gallery > Other Options > Gallery Settings > NextGEN Basic ImageBrowser.

Feel free to suggest a deeper customization path as it may be something others would be interested in as well on our Feature Request form here: http://www.nextgen-gallery.com/feature-voting/

    Thanks!
