I’m probably being thicker than usual – but I can’t seem to get this plug in to show a Picasa album.
The instructions for the Google API bit aren’t that clear, but though albums are public, I added a client ID anyway.
    I’ve tried shortcodes like this:
[gallery type='picasa' user_id='xxx@gmail.com' kind='album' album='5510269036113915489' max_results='20' thumbsize='75'] with both the numeric user id and nickname replacing the email address making no difference. I also switched to default 2011 theme but still no change.
What should the user id be?
Should the album id be the picasa numeric id or something else?
The plug in could really use some clear definitions of what terms should be used.

Here’s a page with a shortcode on if anyone can help:

Progress. It looks like Google was pushing me over to photos at Google + where the album id is different. I had to “go back” to Picasa web (which was what I requested to start with!) and use the Picasa id, not the G+ one. Also the email address didn’t work, the numeric user id did.
