Basic question about backup

    Please forgive this beginner’s question, but…

    Having created my child theme, I see when I go to my editor that underneath the Stylesheet (style.css) where I’ve added my custom css, there’s another file called ‘style.ctcbackup.css’. What is this and should I duplicate my css to here too?

    The backup file is created automatically when you generate, reconfigure or duplicate a child theme from the parent/child tab.

    It is used to restore the child theme to its original state when you select the “Reset” option on the parent/child tab.

    You should not modify this file, but it may be useful if you need to compare versions for some reason.
