Hi great plugin. I read the resolved post that asked about base64 code being used with this plugin. It looks like it’s being used to embed the font(s) used in the table displays and sorting. Is there another way that we can embed the font or use a different font? I’m not a fan of base64 code either?

    Hi Bob,

thanks for your question, and sorry for the trouble.

I totally understand your concerns, but I can assure you that the base64 code in the CSS file is harmless. TablePress does not use any dynamic functions like base64_encode or base64_decode that are often abused.
It’s really only using base64 as part of a Data URI (see ). In particular, the font file “tablepress.woff” that is shipped with the plugin, has been run through and that output has been placed in the “default.css” file.
