# Base Configuration

 * This plugin look like it’s everything I will need. But I am having trouble configuring
   it.
    In the Base Configuration – Base Directory 1 I have (changed names for security)
   C:\home\mysite.org\wwwroot\mysitefolder\wordpress/wp-content/uploads/files
 * When I added the fileup short code and tested a file upload, it created a folder
   called homemysite.orgwwwrootmysitefolderwordpresswp-contentuploadsfiles, basically
   the file path with the slashes removed.
    It placed this folder outside the home
   folder on my server.
 * I know it’s probably me doing something wrong 🙂 I must be missing something.
   
   Please help the helpless 🙂

 * File Away does not at this time natively support Windows server, as discussed
   in the faq, on the requirements section of the info page here, and in several
   support threads. If you want file uploads to work on windows server, currently
   you’ll have to make several modifications to the class.fileaway_management.php
   file in my source code. stripslashes() is the offending function, which is used
   throughout.
