I looked at many premium and free notification bar plug-ins and yours is very customizable and complete! Actually,I can’t wait for the feature to decide whom to show it to (registered or un-registered) since I use the bar to encourage registration. Also, I would like to point out that the preview photos of the plug-in show an “x” for the bar to go away but the plug-in displays an up-arrow.
The problem is I click on up-arrow on one page, and then right-click to got to the next page(s) and the notification bar is down again. I have the “go away bar” cookie time set for 168 hours (one week) with the default state set to “open” – which I imagine is for new users without the “go away bar” cookies. I’ve noticed this in Firefox 24.0, Chrome 30.0.1599.69m and Explorer 10.0.10
I don’t know if this is the cause, or a separate problem. Running the bar during the weekend I got the following PHP error three times…
WordPress database error MySQL server has gone away for query SELECT autoload FROM wp_options WHERE option_name = ‘_transient_aiosp_sitemap_rules_flushed’ made by require(‘wp-blog-header.php’), require_once(‘wp-load.php’), require_once(‘wp-config.php’), require_once(‘wp-settings.php’), do_action(‘after_setup_theme’), call_user_func_array, aioseop_load_modules, All_in_One_SEO_Pack_Module_Manager->load_modules, All_in_One_SEO_Pack_Module_Manager->load_module, All_in_One_SEO_Pack_Module_Manager->do_load_module
Thanks for an otherwise great plug-in!
