Hello @hector7,
The error states that Complianz’ front-end JavaScript was attempting to load, but couldn’t, due to the file not being available.
Do you happen to have any caching/optimizations plugins, or a CDN activated on this environment? Have you already attempted to clear/purge cache in these tools?
Kind regards,
Jarno
Hello (@jarnovos)
Thanks for your answer.
I have no cache tool on my website.
Kind regards
Hector
Hello @hector7,
Could you provide an URL to your website, so we can also take a look?
Let me know!
Kind regards,
Jarno
The website is actually under maintenance mode.
I can send you IDs, have you an email to send you them ? or there is an option to send you MP ?
@hector7 Please don’t offer to send or post logon credentials on these forums: https://wordpress.org/support/guidelines#the-bad-stuff It is not OK to offer, enter, or send site credentials on these forums
@steven
Thanks for your message.
Of course, I will never send any IDs to login with critical rights on the website. Only reader profile
@hector7 Doesn’t matter. Don’t post logins. If you do, it will get you in trouble and anyone who accepts those logins, too. OK? Yes, it’s a fine difference, but it sets a bad example and we try to avoid slippery slopes.
I will get into premium plugin to have support, it will be easier
Hi @hector7
Please know that we would be glad to help you out, also when using the Free plugin. An alternative approach would be to temporarily disable maintenance mode, so you can share just the URL with us, or perhaps make a staging copy of the site and provide the URL to that staging version instead.
But as already mentioned above, it’s not permitted to ask for/provide any sort of login credentials on these forums (even if it concerns test users).
Let me know!
Kind regards,
Jarno
I have disabled the maintenance mode for the next minutes, you will be able to check what is happening.

Hi @hector7,
Luckily, the Cookie Banner appears as expected when I visit the website:

I also don’t see any console errors related to Complianz.
Could you check your website in an Incognito/Private Browsing window, to see if that causes it to appear on your end as well?
Kind regards,
Jarno
Great ! but still not working for me, even into a private window.
What browser are you using ?

Firefox is may be the issue, and the console still shows the same error
I have installed Chrome, and yes it’s working for me too.
Something goes wrong with Firefox
Hi @hector7,
This is likely because you have the option “Respect Do Not Track & Global Privacy Control settings in browsers” enabled (found under Complianz > Wizard > General > Security & Consent), and Firefox sends such “Do Not Track” signals by default.
You can verify this by disabling that setting in the Complianz Wizard, and then checking the site with Firefox once more. Alternatively, you can leave this setting enabled in the Wizard and stop Firefox from sending a Do Not Track signal by configuring the option shown in the screenshot below.
