Banner in middle of post and the <!–more–> command

  • I’m using “connections” in this blog.

    As you can see, I added a banner to ‘float’ on the right-hand side of the post, starting from the 2nd paragraph of the post.

    To make sure this banner doesn’t appear in the index page, because it distorts the whole layout, i add a <!–more–> to the end of the 1st paragraph.

    Question is, is there a way to command for a <!–more–> to be automatically placed at the end of the 1st paragraph, to avoid having to do this manually for each and every post?
