Support » Plugin: Advanced Ads – Ad Manager & AdSense » Banner in Mediadatabase

  • Banner will be saved in the media database and so every banner creates an site, that will be indexed by google. This isn’t good for SEO or UX. So the Plugin is not usable.

    Hi Skrabbel,

sorry for your bad feeling about Advanced Ads and SEO.

If not disabled, images in the media database indeed have their own page. However, Advanced Ads adds the robots meta tag to “noindex” on such pages created for ads. It can be overridden on purpose, but the default behavior is set to not index them by search engines and therefore either strengthen nor harm your SEO profile.

If that is not working in your case, then I will treat it as a bug and would like to learn more about it to fix it. Please let me know then.

    Thomas
