    Hi,

    I appreciate there is a previous topic covering this question but the fix does not seem to work for me and you’ve stated it maybe theme specific.

    Im using hestia theme and have the pro version of the plugin, the banner works fine on desktop, but on mobile once i click the hamburger menu it disappears behind the banner, meaning i cannot close the menu and therefore navigate the site.

    The previous fix mentioned adding the below code into the Website Custom CSS field within the plugin, which i have done to no avail:

    #mobile-menu-opener {
    margin-top: 60px;
    }

    I would appreciate if you could take a look and advise,
    many thanks
    Paul

    Hi @paul331111
    In Website Custom CSS, this should work:

    @media (max-width: 768px) {
    .navbar.navbar-fixed-top .navbar-collapse {
        margin-top: 0;
        top: auto;
    }
    }

    Let me know.

    Thank you for the quick response and correct resolution.

    Much appreciated

    Hey @paul331111 I’m not seeing a gap so I assume you figured it out?

    Hi,

    Thanks for getting back to me, unfortunately not. The mobile version is fine, however on the desktop i always have a gap.

    Okay, what browser and version are you using? I’m using chrome and not seeing the issue.

    Chrome: Version 85.0.4183.83 (Official Build) (64-bit)

    FYI: When i use the WordPress customizer the gap disappears.

    Thanks

    When you are logged out of your WordPress account or view in incognito mode is the gap still visible?

    It is not visible in incognito.

    would you know why i am seeing the gap then?

    appreciate your assistance.

    Thanks

    I’m not exactly sure why you’re seeing the gap when you’re logged in. There is possibly some other plugin you’re using that is interfering with the Custom CSS that you are using in this plugin. First step i would do is disabling other plugins and seeing if that removes that gap, from there you can dive into those plugins and see if there are debug mode settings that are enabled.

    I’m less concerned if i am the only person seeing it.

    I am now trying to change the banner to sticky, and have selected this option in the plugin. However it doesn’t seem to move when i scroll?

    Thanks

    You want to set your banner to fixed. Sticky very rarely works with wordpress themes.

    i have changed it to fixed and now it only shows when i scroll, and it shows underneath my menu?

    appreciate your help here

    Thanks

    That can be fixed by adding Top Padding to the header. I believe 40px should do it.
