Banner codes show as broken images

I was having problems with permissions with image uploads and having it move to the correct folders. I have already gone in and checked to allow for write privileges in that folder and now uploaded pictures are working.

However, when I paste code from an affiliate on the page it will show the image until I click publish or save the draft and then it shows as a broken image after the save or publish. I can go into add media and find the image that was supposed to show and then link it manually, but I just want to be able to paste code again.

The top add was added using code and the bottom ad was uploaded and manually linked.

Any suggestions or thoughts for helping the code show up would be great!
