  • Hello Everyone
    I am new to all this and have a site running http://www.you-can-build-muscle-fast.com
    I am also using this site for marketing but am not sure how to put banner ads up,have tried a few things and plug-ins but have had no success.
    If anyone can point me in the right direction or offer any advice I would be grateful.

    Thanks
    Billi bob

  • One simple way to place banners is to edit the theme files and add the HTML code of banner at proper place..

    There are some plugins to achive this:

    http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/search.php?q=ads&sort=

    depends what kind of ads and where

    I put google ads in a text widget in my sidebar

    I also have several banner ads I rotate with the ad-minister plugin

    http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/ad-minister/

    there are instructions how to use it on their site. You pretty much drop a line of code in yuor theme where you want the ads to display and then configure the plugin

    <div id="myAds">     <!--Open myAds-->
                      <?php  do_action('ad-minister', array('position' => 'banner'));?>
              </div>     <!--Close myAds-->

    something like that

    Or you can just drop in any code you have for the ads straight into your theme….probably header.php for banner ads

    Thanks Guys,will take this info on board and look into it
