Hi @mamabrgtt!
I added several new payment methods including Bancontact, EPS, Sofort, Goropay, IDEAL, P24 and Alipay. I added them from his Stripe account by activating them and then put them in ON mode in Woocommerce > Settings > Payments.
The problem is that the majority of payments that the site’s customers are trying to make don’t work. Only very few work.
When you refer to they don’t work, do you mean they are displaying but don’t allow the payment, or are they hidden from the checkout as a payment method option?
Could you please confirm which payment methods aren’t working within the Stripe Payment Gateway?
So the other day I contacted Stripe and they looked at the failed order data and they told me to contact Woocommerce because the problem has to come from their side since I’m using Woocommerce Checkout.
For now I disabled thoses payments methods so you not gonna see them on the website, but I really need to have them please.
It looks like you could have the new checkout experience activated. If enabled, try to disable it, and see if helps to solve the issue. To do this, please go to WooCommerce > Settings > Payments > Stripe
, click the Settings tab and then search for the Advanced Settings option an disable the Try the new checkout experience (early access).
I can send a screenshot of the failed orders if you need to, thanks a lot by advance.
Please do; it would help us get some context and understand the issue better. Also, are you getting any messages or errors when trying the payment methods you mentioned? If you are, kindly send us a screenshot of it as well.
We will be awaiting your response. Thanks!
Hello!
I’m sorry for my response time, thanks a lot for your precious help!
Yes exactly, I mean that they are displaying but don’t allow the payment.
Yes they are : Bancontact, Sofort, giropay, EPS, iDEAL, Przelewy24 (P24), Alipay, Multibanco, Boleto, and OXXO
I disabled “Enable Express Payments” on Stripe but I didn’t found the option ” Try the new checkout experience (early access).”
Okay! You’ll find a screenshot of the orders that failed at the end. You’ll see there is only Bancontact because I disabled all those new payments methods before other clients report problems.
And for your last question, yes one payment with EPS didn’t worked. With the other payments methods none of my clients have tried to pay with them yet because I disabled evrything as soon as I saw the errors with Bancontact and EPS.
My pleasure ! Thank you again,
Best Regards
PS : I couldn’t join a screenshot, can you tell me how I can do that please ?
Hi @mamabrgtt
Thanks for providing this info.
We recommend https://snipboard.io for easily sharing screenshots – please follow the instructions on that page, then paste the URL in this thread. It works with Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Edge browsers.
We’ll look forward to hearing from you and will be glad to assist further.
Hi,
Sorry again I couldn’t reply earlier! My pleasure, okay I’ll send them via https://snipboard.io
Here’s the first screenshot from my Stripe Dashboard : https://snipboard.io/iRX2jA.jpg
Here’s the second, because in the first we can’t see the first failed order : https://snipboard.io/Z8V5qh.jpg
Thank you a lot!
Hi there @mamabrgtt,
Thank you for sharing those screenshots!
Is there a chance you are using the WooCommerce Blocks on your site?
If so, please note that the cart/checkout blocks do not currently support all Stripe payment methods: https://woocommerce.com/document/cart-checkout-blocks-support-status/#section-8. In that case, I recommend deactivating the blocks and using the default WooCommerce checkout page.
If this doesn’t help, then the first screenshot you sent does not display at all – could you please send it our way again?
When you do that, could you also include screenshots of the notes section inside the failed orders (found on the Orders tab of your site)? Something similar to these screenshots from our documentation: 1, https://woocommerce.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/09/transaction-authentication.png. Please make sure no sensitive information are included in those images.
This should give us a better idea of what caused the failed payments.
Looking forward to your reply!

Hello @iliadio ,
Thanks a thousand time for time, help and support!
No I don’t use WooCommerce Blocks on this website, and I did kept the default WooCommerce checkout page.
Yes I’ll send again the first screenshot you couldn’t see, here : https://snipboard.io/FX7IgO.jpg
And here is a screenshot of the notes of one of the order that failed. (This one has been cancelled by itself, it was with Bancontact.)
In english it says : Unpaid order cancelled – time limit reached. Order status changed from Pending Payment to Cancelled.
Here : https://snipboard.io/pDqfU0.jpg
And here’s another, this one has failed, it was with EPS. In english it says : Stripe payment failed: Unable to process this payment, please try again or use another method. Status of the order changed from Pending Payment to Failed.
Here it is : https://snipboard.io/8OuGos.jpg
I hope I gave you all the informations you needed!
Thanks again !
