• Hi there,

How can I ban a set of IP addresses, or even better whole domains from even accessing my site?

I am sick and tired of SPAM from airtelbroadband.in

I do not have a .htaccess file as I run Windows.

It is not just commenting I want to ban, I don’t want them on my site at all. The SPAM commenting, contact forms, etc…

Adding to the Settings>Discussion only stops comments, so I would ideally like to block access to the whole site.

    Any ideas o nthis one?

    Thanks!

    Hello,

You can use the WP-Ban plugin in order to restrict the access to your website from certain IP addresses.

if you block the domain then other users using the domain will be blocked for example if you want to block pqr@yahoo.com then block pqr@yahoo.com

if you block the domain @yahoo.com then all the other users who are using yahoo will be blocked

Hristo, thanks I had looked at that one and didnt realise it blocks them from the whole site. Thanks

Yestereaster, I know, but until they do something about their spammers I’m happy to block them all from this domain.

Does anything good come from airtelbroadband.in?
