Ban by username

This plugin is great. It would be perfect for me if on top of what it does already it allowed to ban a registered user (by username) from logging into the site (temporarily or permanently) and to display a custom message to the user upon login attempt (and integrate itself into the WP users interface so that a user could be located and banned quickly). There’s simply no WP plugin like that at the moment except for DRP WordPress User Management which is somewhat clumsy and seems abandoned.

Would you please consider adding this functionality?
