Hi @etellwright
Thank you for choosing our plugin.
We apologize for the inconvenience.
First please ensure that your block is using WooCommerce Product Image block. For other image block types it is not possible for the plugin to automatically show the badge. It is only possible for the Product Image block.
Maybe your block image, is not type of product image block, so if it is possible for you change it to a WooCommerce product image block.
- Make sure that you have the latest version of both free and pro plugins. The plugin version numbers should be the same and the latest version.
- Navigate to the plugin settings – general tab.
- Check all of the listed positions for the archive and product page. (If there is an issue on the archive page, then you can check all of the positions for the archive page but if there is an issue on the product page then you can check the positions for the product page).
- Please note that there are different positions for the ‘On image” and “Out of image” badges so make sure you are testing the appropriate one.
- Check positions one by one.
Also, the plugin has the below shortcodes and maybe it can help you if none of the listed positions help you.
- [asnp_badge hide=”1″] to use on the product page.
- [asnp_badge] to use on the archive product or product listing page.
In case the above tips can’t help you, please provide us with the information below to let us check it out.
- A link to the page.
- A screenshot to let us know on which product did you set a badge.
- A screenshot of the page configuration and which blocks are you using for the product and product image.
Further Notice: Product Bundles issue on your website. There is a cache issue on your website so the bundle plugin doesn’t work properly on your website. To fix it read this guide and check all of the steps in it. In case it doesn’t help you, create a new topic for the bundle.
I hope it helps.
Best regards
Hi,
Thank you. I have tried all the options but not managed to get the badges to appear. It is definitely the product image block that is part of the product template block and they are appearing on the other archive pages. Here is link to the page: https://castleseftonpress.co.uk/ and here are the screenshots: https://limewire.com/d/14XSp#MDg9oXEaku All the bundles in the screenshot should have a badge.
Many thanks for the excellent support as always. I have already excluded some things from the cache, so I will raise this with support as perhaps I have not done it correctly.
Hi @etellwright
Please follow the tips below:
- Deactivate your cache plugin.
- Refer to the plugin settings and set the “Badge On Image Position On Archive Page” to the “Product get image”.
- Save the settings and try again.
The “Product get image” is the hook that is used with WooCommerce Product Image block.
If the above position doesn’t help, try to use other positions one by one to check which one is working for you.
Just please note that the above tips, is for the archive page and is not for the product page.
It is required to deactivate your cache plugin, because it will cache the contents.
In case the above tip can’t help you, and you have the PRO version of the plugin please contact us here for further investigation.
I hope it helps.
Best regards
HI,
I’ve tried everything, even the shortcode, but nothing works. I’m using Astra, so the archive pages are controlled by the customiser and the badges work fine there, but this is a product block I have added to an ordinary page using the block editor. I can only assume that that is the difference, but there doesn’t seem to be any way to fix it. At least I have been able to manually delete the horrible WooCommerce Sale badges.
Hi @etellwright
I am writing to let you know that we checked it with Astra + Block and it is working fine. Please check the below screenshots.

Maybe it is related to your cache plugin, so deactivate the cache plugin then try the settings in the screenshots.
I hope it helps.

Hi, thanks very much. I have tried disabling the cache plugin (always the first suspect!). The link for your screenshots isn’t working. Please can you send them again and I will have another investigate …
I have solved it! The answer was to have the On Image set to ‘Product Get Image’ but the Out of Image not set to ‘Product Get Image’. Now everything is working perfectly.
Thank you so much for your patience and support.
