bad url in links

  • Hi, I’m a wordpress newbie, just installed wordpress and it mostly works… about 90% there I think. I can create posts.

However, many of the hyperlinks point into space. For example, the links at the bottom of each post are missing a field:

    ‘Uncategorized’ references:
    http://localhost/wordpress/?cat=1
    ‘No Comments’ references:
    http://localhost/wordpress/?p=3#respond
    ‘June Archives’ references:
    http://localhost/wordpress/?m=200606

Clicking any of these links brings me to a dir listing of the /wordpress dir. (Which is quite nice, but not too useful) There should be something between the ‘/’and the ‘?’, no?
    I’m running on wordpress 2.0, XP, apache 2.0.58, php 5.1.4, mysql 5.0.21

    Thanks, Tom
