# Bad url

 * Hi – I’m new to WP. I was able to get my site up and attempted to set up multi-
   language for the purpose of having multiple audiences. But, when trying to view
   the site, I get this error.
 * Not Found
 * The requested URL /en_US was not found on this server.
 * Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument
   to handle the request.
 * When I refresh the browsers, or manually remove /en_US my site comes up.
 * Not sure what I did that is causing the issue.
 * Any assistance would be valuable.
 * Thanks in advance.

 * Sounds like an issue with whatever you are using for translation.
 * The /en_US is the english translation of your site and it should point to the
   homepage for that language.

 * I’m using the user language switch plug-in version 1.4.2. I truly just want the
   website to be in Spanish. Not sure why its redirecting to English. Any ideas?
   I spent many cycles trying to solve this issue.

 * I deactivated the plugin, now the site is not pulling /en_US. Thanks for pointing
   me the source.
