• So I don’t normally do reviews unless they are really good, but the fact that i was ignored for almost 2 days so far while newer and older support tickets have all been given support to be completely ignorant. will be looking for a new plugin with a dev that actually gives support.

    Thumbnails do not work, which is a game breaker for this plugin

    1) It’s unfortunate that you felt the need to leave a 1-star review rather than “bumping” your support request, which would’ve been perfectly effective.

    2) Your expectations for support (which is free) for this plugin (which is also free) are perhaps a tad higher than they should be. We do our best to answer support tickets in a timely fashion but make no guarantees and as you note, don’t always respond in the order they come in for various reasons.

    3) If anyone else is reading this, and you take a look through the past support tickets, I’m sure you’ll find that the support for this plugin is actually quite good and regularly includes custom code samples and a willingness to improve the plugin and push fixes.

    2) Closing the ticket with out giving support just because of a unhappy client is immature at best…

    3) If anyone else is reading this, my ticket was in the top 2 of the support page for 3 days so did not need bumping, the ticket was out right ignored.

    4) try to be more profesional, it might be free, still doesnt give you the excuse you ignore ppl and be rude about it…

    The ticket was closed because you said you’d be using another plugin, which I hope you are able to find.

    No affiliation or guarantee, but you might consider this plugin which is paid but may better meet your support needs and has extensive documentation.

    Clearly it did need bumping.

    If anyone else is reading this, please be patient as this is not a full time job and again, both the plugin and support are free. If you feel the response is too slow, you’re much more likely to get help by bumping your support thread rather than dragging down the rating and calling the developer ignorant.

    Not sure why you feel entitled to dictate the timeline for free support on a free plugin, but either way, the response was no more rude than your 1-star review.

    @dxlwebs You’re not a client. You are a user of free software and that’s not even close to being a “customer”. You’re being helped for free by a volunteer on someone else’s time. If that doesn’t work for you then feel free to switch to another plugin.

    People do read these reviews and while you may get some satisfaction from a 1 star review, anyone reading your posts can and will make up their minds about this review.
