I'm new to WordPress and blogging in general -- but my RSS links are broken in 1.5b1 1-31. They generate a URL that is

    http://sitename/sitename/feed

Which is of course, broken. Anyone else seeing this?

I have the same issue with the latest build. RSS appears to be broken.

Look at your RSS http://log.brilliantlystupid.org/wp-rss2.php there appears to be something wrong with Spaminator. Here's some more info on that specific error: http://codex.wordpress.org/Answers-Trouble_Shooting#Headers_already_sent

"I notice my rss wants to launch an external application for feeds in 1.5?" The RSS feeds in v1.5 use some whacky new tag which is supposed to automatically open your feed in an RSS app.

The RSS feeds in v1.5 use some whacky new tag which is supposed to automatically open your feed in an RSS app. Quote macmanx

Yeah I think that is a bad move, I think with the gazillions of users out there it will only add to confusion. I have sharp feed reader and it did not open it, also I sometimes use live bookmarks. I did see the {type="application/rss+xml"} in header.php but deletion of that reference in the rss feed did not work, just replacing the link to the actual file in sidebar.php and footer.php seems to be the simple
    fix
