  • The plugin is not compatible with bloom popups form.
You can’t exclude pages, when you display a chat messenger for example.

    Hi @justin31 ,

Bloom is a premium plugin, so supporting for it is not as easy as for free plugins since we have to purchase it (while we can’t be sure if people use it or not).

Anyway, we’ll investigate into this problem and will update it soon for a better compatibility.

    Hi @justin31,

I’ve just tested with Bloom and I see the plugin works properly with it. You can exclude pages, posts normally in Bloom and Bloom still functions well. Please see this screen recording:

Can you please give more details on the bug? How did you set Bloom up?

    Hello,

The bug of Slim SEO concerns the chat messenger, this is the code that we put at the location <Head> in your plugin.
This chat messenger blocks the pop up windows of bloom forms (when the pop up is configured to appear at the click of a button).

Once I disabled the Slim SEO plugin, my pop up bloom form worked again.

Yes you can exclude page in Bloom,
But you can’t exclude pages in “Slim SEO” when you install a messenger chat with the plugin for exemple (that’s what i’m talking)

    I understand.

The problem here is the script you insert doesn’t work with Bloom, not the Slim SEO plugin.

And you expect the plugin has an option to exclue the script for certain pages.

The settings for quick inserting code into header or body is made for inserting scripts like Google Analytics, Facebook pixel or similar, e.g. the scripts that are used mostly in marketing. These scripts is usually global. And we make this feature to save people time to insert them manually in the theme.

This feature is not for advanced usage like this situation. Adding more controls where a script is executed is beyond the scope of the plugin and makes it not slim anymore. I’d suggest you using another plugin like Code Snippets, Advanced Scripts or similar to control where and when a script is executed.
