Bad header.php file

  • I just uploaded a new header file below that somehow made my site show blank…

    Any advice greatly appreciated…

    <!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC “-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 Strict//EN” “http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml1/DTD/xhtml1-strict.dtd”>
    <html xmlns=”http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml”>

    <head profile=”http://gmpg.org/xfn/11″>
    <meta http-equiv=”Content-Type” content=”<?php bloginfo(‘html_type’); ?>; charset=<?php bloginfo(‘charset’); ?>” />

    <title><?php thesis_output_title(); ?></title>

  • Delete the header file and restore the original one.

    I did that…I even restored the original header w/ the thesis theme. I’m guessing there was some modification done on header by a support person that I was unaware of.

    Thanks…I’ve tried that as well, somehow they’ve lost my registration to login and I’m not getting a response for new username/passcode.

    Not being unfriendly here janderso0888 but thesis theme has custom codes and features plus child themes which I will not see because I don’t buy themes, I create my own. Do check out the forum link I gave you though, I saw a cross-site security advisory under trouble shooting thread which you need to correct in search.php or another file.
