BackWPup no longer working (DropBox, email, local folder)

Hi,

So I’ve been using BackWPup on this site for over 6 months now with no issues until this week. The backup was set to submit all WordPress site backup files daily (keeping the last 10) to a DropBox account and a local folder on the computer and working smoothly until recently when it started to freeze on creating archives section at 82% and after about a couple of hours it would not finish and submitted this error below:

This message was sent after just having the backup submit to an email address which has plenty of space on the mail server. I’ve also checked the DropBox account and made sure there was plenty of space, which there was ’93MB of 2G used’ so I know it has nothing to do with space for the backup files.

Can you tell me what might be the problem here? We are looking to upgrade WordPress to 3.8.2 but want to make sure our last backup runs smoothly before proceeding but would also like to make sure that this backup plug-in is in proper working order. I can also send you our BackWPup settings as well in case you think that would be helpful in troubleshooting this issue.
