BackWPup doesn’t work anymore after the Update to WP V5.8.2 | WordPress.org

Does anyone have a similar problem?
Since the update to V5.8.2, I can no longer perform any backups with BackWPup. I always get the message “Job “Man. DB Sicherung (lokal)” has been started, but has not responded for 10 seconds. Please check information.”

The informations show:
cURL error 7: Failed to connect to xxxDOMAINxxx port 443: Connection timed out

2 days ago (before the update to 5.8.2 from 5.8.1) everything was still working.

Addendum:

I just did some research and found the following information in the health status: https://gyazo.com/4c01470f58c18a0b3c916223ea223777.

Accordingly, the planned tasks have not been carried out correctly via WP Cron for 2 days now, see: https://gyazo.com/776c3da170fde0e5f9c37f8609e29a79.

you can fix this by using another cron method.
modify wp-config.php ( you can find this file in your root directory ), and BEFORE the line:
/* That’s all, stop editing! Happy blogging. */
add this line:
define('ALTERNATE_WP_CRON' , true );

Just waiting for my hoster-support before doing any further steps.

All clear, everything is fine again. Here is the info from my host:

Quote: “Your IP was accidentally blocked on the server side because it also accessed in between during an attack.”
