    I have been recently getting this message. Can anyone tell me what I have to do to ‘fix’ the issue?

    “BackUpWordPress detected issues with your last backup. Dismiss
    500 Internal Server Error
    500 Internal Server Error
    The page cannot be displayed.

    Hi Anne,

    Thanks for your patience.

    Could you Enable Support though the BackUpWordPress page and drop me a message through there?

    Could you confirm that the backup is definitely not completing despite the error? As not all 500 internal server errors are causing backups to actually fail.

    Hi Owain

    Thanks so much for all of your consideration of this issue. In the meantime, I’ve done some maintenance on the site. I’m not sure if some broken links or pages that had been ‘retired’ were causing the problem but, today, when I checked the issue to prepare to reply to you, the 500 internal server errors were all gone and it appears that the backup is working perfectly again. Anyway, there are no error alerts on the system now. Thanks again – I’m sorry I can’t give you any more definite information for your purposes. I’m a novice in all of this. I’m just glad it’s behaving itself again and I really do appreciate your interest and support.
