Here is a screenshot of the issue: http://prnt.sc/24xaf6t
I have tried to move three sites to another server, and the backup works fine, but the restore on the other side – I get the exact same problem:
“Warning: If you can still read these words after the page finishes loading, then there is a JavaScript or jQuery problem in the site. This may prevent the restore procedure from being able to proceed. Go here for more information.”
I checked all my Jquery / Java settings – that is not the problem as far as I can see.
Sites Hosted on a Cpanel server
I have the same problem, I have tried it on 3 different websites and on different servers and it gets stuck in the verification process and the javascript and jQuery alert comes up.
Quickfix:
download the previous version 1.16.66 – https://downloads.wordpress.org/plugin/updraftplus.1.16.66.zip
Upload and replace the “newest” version, and re-run the restore. That did the trick.
Keep well!
I think the topic subject should be “*restore* not working…”?
Apologies for this. Please update to the new release, 1.16.68, which fixes a file wrongly packaged in 1.16.67.
David
Thank you david for the quick response and yes you’re right, the topic should be that, apologies for the confusion.
