# Backups not working

 * Backups are not working in general. At first I thought it was just an issue with
   scheduled backups but even when I try to manually backup it still doesn’t work.

 * It doesn’t work for me either.
    I’m using my own host. I tested and the only 
   thing it retrieved back was another plugin that I deleted. I uploaded an image,
   changed a page AFTER the backup, then tried to restore and they are still there.
   I was planning to buy the solution but how can I trust?

 * Scheduled backups do not work. Manual backups start but never complete. I usually
   do not recieve error messages, the backup just stops.

 * Also backing up puts too much work on the server. It causes the website to become
   extremely slow when the process is going on.

 * Please could you send us a copy of the backup log for the latest failed manual
   backup?
    This log should be available from the Existing Backups tab of the UpdraftPlus
   settings page.
 * The contents will be too long to post here directly, but you can use an online
   service such as Pastebin, and post the link here.
