    First, LOVE this plugin and I’ve used it for months now. Thrilled with each and every update you do!

    But, now every time I create a new package, the DAY on the package name does not change. For example, I have five packages of my site created over the past few weeks, with the first one created on March 16, 2014.

    Every one of the five packages I’ve created since then have:

    20140316_mysitename (For March 16, 2014)

    As part of the name, even though their content and created date is correct. The one I just created, for example, begins 20140316 even though it should show 20140324, today’s date.

    Aside from this, everything about your plugin is and has been since I started using it, rock solid. I’ve moved sites back and forth from local to hosted and hosted to hosted without any problems.

    Thank you!

    Hey Len,

    Thanks for the feedback! If you can give the developer version a try it may have your fixes for the issue your seeing. The very latest version (0.5.3) can be found by following these instructions:

    -> Browse to http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/duplicator/developers/
    -> Look for the section “Other Versions”
    -> Click on “Development Version” and download the zip plugin file
    -> Uninstall your current version and install this one
    -> Note: This is a development line version so please test in your sandbox first to make sure you have no issues…

    Basically what you have to do with this version is click the refresh arrow right beside the name. That will generate a new date based name. Otherwise it remembers all of your settings from the last usage.

    Let me know if this solves your issue…

    Thanks

    Ah! Excellent. I’m getting ready to download and check out the developer version, but just tried what you said about the current one and noticed the little curly refresh arrow you mentioned. Actually, that’s a nice implementation so I can give my own name, go with the running default, or use today’s date stamp.

    Thank you. Again, fantastic plugin.
