Backups for Just wp-content

    I noticed that the backups generated don’t include some files and folders at the domain root. It seems to only backup the contents inside the wp-content folder. Why doesn’t it backup everything? For example, wp-includes and wp-admin as well as many other folders and files found outside the wp-content folder. Thanks

    WP BackItUp only backs up files and data that is specific to your site. All the files outside the wp-content root are WordPress core files and can be dowloaded from wordpress.org or are provider by your host as part of their install.
