[Resolved] Backups folder still created in wp-content after uninstalling BackWPup

I uninstalled BackWPup from several sites and deleted the BackWPup-related folders from wp-content. However, the “string-backups” (where string is a site-specific alphanumeric string generated by BackWPup) folder inside wp-content is automatically recreated every time I delete it, even though BackWPup has been uninstalled/deleted. This happens on several sites.

Is there any way to prevent this folder from being recreated?

Please ignore. After digging through the database, it appears that this folder is actually created by the WP Remote plugin, not BackWPup.
