 * I think it would be nice if wp would have this feature..
    currently to do a back
   up.. i would have to backup all my files… and the sql manually.. hopefully there’s
   a automatic process.. 😀

 * hmm that script was posted way back in feb – does it work for 1.2?
    mySQL dumps
   are fine as a backup but ideally I would like a readable text copy so I could
   check old entries offline. Would it be really hard to get WordPress to generate
   something like the MT export file?

 * It would …. WP would have to add all sorts of stuff to make the db as big as
   an MT one :p

 * I am moving my blog to a new server so I installed the new release on the new
   server and tried to do a restore of the database from the old server. I get a
   message saying
 * /home/meisheid/www/beyondtherim/backup/12012005wordpress-orig.sqlRestore successful.
 * but there is nothing there and when I do a new backup the file is blank so it
   appears the restore is not working.
 * Any suggestions?
