# Backup WP without MySQL access

 * I’m running wordpress on a sub-domain. My host set up the MySQL database for 
   me, but I don’t have access.
 * This leaves me wondering
    a) how I can backup my blog, and b) how secure the 
   database file itself is?
 * While the content isn’t exactly crucial, it is important to me – I’d like to 
   be able to take some precautions.
