Backup to S3 without too high CPU usage?

I’ve been using UpdraftPlus to create daily backups of my site without any issues. Then we moved to a new host and they disabled the plugin because they claimed it was using too much CPU to run.

The host does make backups, but I want my own backups – I’ve learned the hard way in the past not to rely solely upon the host’s backups.

So I’m looking for a plugin that will backup my site to Amazon S3, with less CPU than UpdraftPlus. I’ve Googled, searched here, and haven’t been able to figure out what to do. Any recommendations would be very much appreciated!
