Support » Plugin: UpdraftPlus WordPress Backup Plugin » Backup Subdirectory

  • Hi!

I had a question regarding the backup locations. Is there any way to have updraft save new backups into its own folders. Meaning, currently and by default, all backups are saved into /updraft directory. However, is there any way to make it so that daily backups for instance, end up in their own sub-directories like /updraft/backup_001/, /updraft/backup_002, etc?

    Thanks

    Hi,

No, this isn’t currently possible. We have an item in our task tracker to look at the possibilities. It’s quite complex, though, as the assumption is hard-wired in lots of places.

Thank you for the quick response David.

I’m glad this is something you guys are looking into. It’ll be really useful for users!

    Thanks again.
