backup not working

    Hi,

    I’ve been using the plugin Online Backup for WordPress for a while now for 8 websites/blogs. The last website I created and that I want to backup doesn’t work, so backup is not possible it seems. I also went on my account of Backup Technology to check if I could download any of my other backups, and there I get for every backup the same error message: “An unknown failure occurred. If the issue persists, please contact support.”

    I also tried just now to generate a downloadable full backup and store it locally. Everything seems to work, untill I want to open the zip-file and it doesn’t work… error message.

    I’m getting worried now, because this means that this plugin doesn’t work in any way possible and if something goes wrong with host I have no backup at all… :/

    Can someone please help me? Thanks in advance!

    I’ve been trying to restore my site for past 2 months, every time I get the error when generating snapshot. Contacted the developer about 6 weeks ago, but received no reply.

    thanks for info, I gave the plugin 1 star rating with following comment:

    making the backup is possible, but when I try to retrieve the backup it doesn’t work… also tried to get some help on support forum from creators of the plugin, also by mail, but no answer.
    Bad plugin, Bad support :///

    Maybe you should do the same 😉
